Zuisen Usaki 720ml 30% (Awamori)

Nose: Ripe pear, white ume flower, hints of caramel, nuts, cacao and sweet chocolate. 

Palate:  Initial burst of faint white chocolate. Developing with hints of brown sugar, and truffle with a dry mineral finish.

Additional info: Uses the same strain of kuro koji used prior to WW2. Japan Airlines serves this awamori in their first class lounge since winning the 'Best Shinshu Category' in the New Japan Project Award in 2018.
