It delivers a dark rosé experience but with this persistence of gravelly, grunty tannin all the while acidity is super perky, a vermouth-like red wine zip runs through, wild fennel, aniseed and sage leaf do herbal things and there’s a stewed cherry sweetness underlying. Then the tannins come grumbling through. Such an experience. Get some cut meats and watch it fly.”
