Average vine age here is 80 years & perhaps the most mineral of all the whites from this domaine, and yet also deeply concentrated (wide & long).  In keeping with the house style of no new oak in the whites - it's also 1 to 4 year old barrels here. 

18.5 Matthew Jukes - "There is a more muscular mid-palate here, and the fruit is tense and compact and this will not only be a longer-lived wine than Les Ravelles, but it will also be a fuller framed wine.  Rich, ripe and imposing, this is a terrific vintage for this rare cuvée, and I can’t remember a finer example of this wine."

Jancis Robinson - "Light nose. Some citrus flavours on this finely etched wine with quite a bit of acidity but sufficient fruit weight too. Needs a bit more time than the Ravelles."
