2024 Vincent Dampt Petit Chablis
VERY LIMITED
92 Points, Tip Top Tipple - Gary Walsh (The Wine Front) – “This has energy and flavour. I’m thinking lemon oil, green mango, melon, mint and honey. It has some waxiness and flinty grip to texture, a nip of lemon peel bitterness, and a juicy tang to a finish of excellent length, closing with some green olive salinity. Curiously this seems a little riper than the AC Chablis of the same vintage, though it’s still a bit of a banger. Yum.”
89-91 Pts, Burghound
88 Pts & 4 Stars, Jasper Morris – “Two thirds Fyé, one third Beines. A lively pale lemon yellow. Less immediate on the nose than Sébastien Dampt’s bottling, plenty of energy, even a little more flesh, a wine of character.”
Delicious quintessential Chablis - often Petit is the Chablis exhibiting classical typicity of old school classic Chablis.
Sourced mainly from 40+ year old vines mostly from the village of Fye. Some fruit from just above the 1er cru of Beauroy.
Raised only in stainless steel it's bright, fresh & very saline.
