It’s bright, nutty, peanutty even, a sake-like richness, a little chalky in texture, fresh and crisp, with a finish that offers satisfaction and go-again appeal. This is so delicious and good to drink. I love it. Highly recommended.”

Delicious 100% Cortese from the very talented Camilla at Azienda Agricola Piona.

A nervy citrus driven Gavi with terrific length & energy.  But also some texture & middle palate flavours of aniseed, green almond, fennel & thyme.  The very mild growing season has produced a Gavi (Cortese) with excellent natural acidity & thus good cellaring potential with the 2024.
