Neal Martin, Vinous - "This is a little gem of an estate, rudimentary in some ways yet marked by constant attention to detail. Maillet’s 2024 Mâcon-Verzé L'Essart is a wonderful articulation of that lieu-dit and comes highly recommended. Likewise, the Le Chemin Blanc that comes from 80- to 90-year-old vines has a complexity you would ascribe to a fine Premier Cru from the Côte de Beaune. Prices remain very reasonable.”

92 Points, Neal Martin. Vinous - "The 2024 Mâcon-Verzé Le Chemin Blanc comes from older vines, 80 to 90 years old, that are oriented west, and is aged in enamel-lined vats. There is real depth on the nose. Slightly more yellow fruit here mixed with touches of hazelnut and pine nuts, just a touch fumé in style. Great delineation. The palate is well balanced with bright acidity and impressive depth, with plenty of substance for a Mâcon-Verzé towards the sour lemon-tinged finish. This is another great '24 from Maillet and his team."

94 Points, Gary Walsh (The Wine Front) – “Distinctly saline, peach, papaya, a sort of freshly laundered wool jumper thing here, some lemon zest. It’s juicy, grilled hazelnuts, a sort of tropical juiciness to acidity, a little chalky in feel, with a salty tangerine finish of excellent length. Very good.”

The flagship bottling and an exhilarating White Burgundy (100% Chardonnay) from certified organic 95 year old vines on clay-limestone soils in Verzé.

100% tank elevage no oak, yet it's as wide as it is long.  Teeming with brine & oyster shell whiffs on the nose.  A crunchy wet stone feel to the palate bursting with citrus but also white stone fruit. Top shelf Chardonnay with searing length & depth.  It's hard to fathom the mouthfeel & texture of the wine given its raising in stainless steel but no doubt its depth is derived from the long lees time & very old vines.
