100% Chardonnay from a superb plot of 50+ year old vines in Mâcon-Verzé.  A whiff of spearmint & crushed rock on the nose.  The phenolic are a highlight here with lemon pith characters on a laden finish of superb length.  It's benchmark Mâcon for quality but perhaps not for style - it's ulftra tight & steely.
