93 Points, Gary Walsh (TWF) - "Two vineyards, one planted 1914 in Rowland Flat, the other 1932 in Angaston Village. Raspberry, cocoa, some liquorice, rhubarb, something floral too, like dried roses. It’s a supple and juicy wine, a smattering of dried herb and new leather adds a savoury component, and the finish is fleshy and somewhat stony, and offers excellent length. Very good and something of a bargain with it."

Made via a mixture of whole berry and 25% whole bunch natural vineyard yeast ferment in small open top fermenters, soft pump overs, basket pressed into seasoned 500lt French oak barrels and bottled unfiltered.

Lovely mild vintage for the Barossa allowing for flavours to slowly build with excellent acid retention to produce fruit of amazing deep complex flavours.

Two old vineyards dated 1914 Rowland Flat & 1932 Angaston Village. Naturally dry grown on an easterly aspect, among the fruit orchards and grain fields
