For want of a better expression, this is the ‘entry level’ Chardonnay from Maillet.  It is sourced 45 year old vines on soils composed of clay & limestone.  It sees no oak & is raised completely in neutral vats.

Teeming with wet stone, oyster shell & estuarine saline notes.  It’s pure focused & very long.  A wonderful introduction to this excellent Domaine.
