2023 Monchiero Barbera d'Alba Superiore

Very Limited - just 60 bottles for Australia.

We've not managed to secure a parcel of this each year as it's a very small make - a real shame because it's a serious structural Barbera with genuine tannins & age ability. The fruit comes from Alba, Castiglione Falletto & La Morra.  Raised in large old oak for one year then into stainless steel before bottling.  Barbera performed well in 2023 & this is an outstanding release from Monchiero.
