96 Points, James Suckling – “Aromas of blue and black fruit with a savory undertone join spices, bitter chocolate, dried flowers and terra-cotta. The pure, refined palate has finely tuned tannins and a rounded, mineral-driven finish. Tightly wound with so much generosity and freshness that will unravel with time. A wonderful example of this grand cru.”
93-95 Points, Jasper Morris – “Quite powerful purple. Not much bouquet. This is rugged, concentrated, not too ripe, as much red fruit as black, showing its structure at the moment, but will settle down in to a relatively classical Clos Vougeot”. Drink from 2032-2038.
