2023 Fiorenzo Nada Langhe Nebbiolo (PRE-ARRIVAL ONLY)

Today are very pleased to release pre-arrival the 2023 Fiorenzo Nada Langhe Nebbiolo.

The terms ‘baby Barolo’ & ‘baby Barbaresco get thrown around way too often – but here, for a change, it’s very apt.  Nada declassified all of their best Rombone & Manzola Cru Nebbiolo fruit into their Langhe Nebbiolo. Nada did not even produce their Barbaresco Classico in 2023.

Nada’s vineyards in Treiso were decimated by a ferocious hailstorm in 2023.  It wiped out very large areas including all Dolcetto & most Barbera.  Miraculously and fortuitously – small parts of their best parcels of Rombone & Manzola remained intact & preserved.

In addition to the fruit quality being excellent they elected to produce the Langhe Nebbiolo like a Barbaresco with 19 months in large Slavonian oak.

This is a superb release with excellent ageing potential.  It will certainly overdeliver on a conventional Langhe Nebbiolo experience.
