From a hallowed terroir & a plot of 70 year old vines just beneath Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru. Lots of clay laced with large deposits of limestone.

92-94 Points, Neal Martin (Vinous) – “The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers 1er Cru is more open and expressive on the nose than the Les Chatelots, with wild strawberry, blackberry and wild hedgerow emerging over time. It shows fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy ripe red fruit and gentle grip, very harmonious with an appealing black pepper note towards the finish.  Stylish and classy, this Chambolle would win many fans, but it needs time in bottle.” Drink 2027-2042

90-93 Points, Burghound – “An exceptional pretty and very floral-suffused nose of mostly cool and airy red cherry is also trimmed in just enough to notice. The rich, generously proportioned and caressing medium-bodied flavours also display good power on the more complex and lengthy finish where again a touch of warmth slowly arrives.”
