2023 Chapelle de Blagny Meursault 1er Cru 'Les Ravelles'

The average vine age is 60 years from this cool higher site.  A very judicious use of oak with a mix of 1 to 4 year old barrels (no new oak).   A detailed & finely nuanced Chardonnay & a very citrus driven expression of Meursault. As like previous, releases there's terrific energy, persistence & length - suggesting long term cellaring potential.
