95 Points, Kasia Sobiesiak (The Wine Front) – “This deserves a big glass. Le Cloux is a touch heavier than Chazelle. It’s spicier and more curdy. The fabric of flavour is heavy but cool and smooth, like thick satin. On offer are slippery green melon flesh, cream slice, toasted almond, maybe even a richer nut like macadamia. All delicious aromas, none dominating the wine. And that’s because there’s a strong citrus skin and flint stone thread that zips it all up, and keeps it taut and fresh in the finish.
