Stunning Aligote from clay-limestone soils in Montagny, raised in 5-6 year old wood. 

93 Points, Mike Bennie (The Wine Front) – “Scents and flavours start and finish with attractive saline minerality. Lemon curd comes into play, soft, dried apple notes, brown pear, waxy melon, some faint cumquat tang and a little almond paste nuttiness lending savouriness. Generous colour, bold perfume, lots of flavour but a requisite cut and thrust of coolness too. It does good justice to the word complexity and provides high drinkability. Kinda classy too, just bolder than usual.”
