But there’s this sumptuous feel to texture despite the friskiness, a honey lozenge kind of thing with distinct almond savouriness and camomile tea, then the yellow stone fruits, Golden Delicious apple and soft, preserved lemon notes. It’s got a kind of gourmand’s breadth and width and depth, something to settle into with pheasants and high country cheese and black bread with dried fruits and nuts on the side. A very special drink and so delicious."
