This is just the third release of this wine from Paitin.  Albesani is the stuff of legends in Piedmont – not just one of Neive’s greatest crus – one of the greatest in all of Piedmont.

A little firmer than this producer’s Faset of the same vintage and with more fruit concentration on the nose but with the same distinct complex lees note. Cool, focused raspberry fruit of great freshness but with the acidity perfectly integrated in the fruit and with finely ground tannins. Not ready yet.”
