93 Points, Kasia Sobiesiak (The Wine Front) – “Earthy wine with dried blood, iron and flint-stone-type of a ‘mineral’ top note. Very savoury from the start as a result. Spice, herbs and forest berries, amaro core, ripe pomegranate juice traction and a sarsaparilla edge. Tannins are fine and firm, smooth and slate-like. It’s a very gamey, very wet forest and decaying sous-bois wine with sparks of sweet berries and rose perfume. Very Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du Mal, dark and moody style. Love it or hate it.”
