91-93 Points, Neal Martin (Galloni) – “The 2023 Meursault Goutte d’Or 1er Cru is matured in 30% new oak, which needs a few months to be fully assimilated. A sun-kissed Meursault, this quite honeyed in style. The palate has a little more tension and spiciness than the village Cru. It's quite feisty with touches of white pepper and ginger dallying about on the finish. This will require three or four years in bottle, but there is already a nascent sense of energy in situ. It may well repay cellaring. This is one to watch."
