2022 Domaine Nicholas Delfaud Macon Verze Blanc

Really taut & citrus driven Macon from Nicolas.  It's from a limestone site with some clay & marl. Raised in a combination of stainless steel & old oak - it's all about the fruit.  Distinctly mineral too. Delicious stuff & so so well priced for serious White Burgundy. 

93 Points, Mike Bennie - "Preserved lemon, halva, dill and gentle alpine herb, sugared almonds, a little sea spray/saline character and gentle limey elements. A touch hazy in texture, pleasingly so, juiciness in tow with a great extension of citrusy flavour and briny lilts in tow. Succulent, gently, very fresh feeling and generally delicious to drink. Not particularly fancy or multi-dimensional, but the ease of consumption inherent here is very charming. This is a delight."
