91 Points, James Suckling - "Racy strawberries and subtle spices follow through to a crunchy, medium bodied palate. Tannins are present and firm, but there is nothing chewy. Quite juicy with a fragrant, medium length finish."

From an area which is becoming increasing less under the radar - Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits.  There’s a bevy of old vines in the area & many vineyards with higher cooler sites.

From vines up to 60 years of age, in the parcels of Chevannes and Messanges, nestled in the cool heights of the Combe de Chaux, lend this cuvée a distinctive vibrancy.

In the highlands of Nuits-Saint-Georges (Chevannes, Messanges, Bévy, Curtil), clay limestone soils shape this vineyard. The rows are grass-covered, with one-third planted in high and wide-trained vines, and two-thirds in traditionally low-trained vines.
