It's 70% nebbiolo & 30% vespolina from 85 year old vines. It's supple & elegant - weighing in at just 13.5 % ABV.
Dustings of graphite & white pepper laced with alpine herbs too. Red fruited flavours of maraschino cherry. Saline & balsamic through the mid palate. Taut and lean but not in the slightest sinewy. A stone laden finish of excellent length with some blood orange in the mix. Alto-Piemonte at it’s finest.
One of the finds of 2025 for us, and one of the finest wines we tasted all year.
