100% declassified Gattinara nebbiolo from an excellent Alto Piemonte.  Stefano declassifies this wine not based on fruit but based on cellar space - he simply does not have the storage space in his tiny cellar to allow this fruit to age long enough to be released as a Gattinara.

94 Points, James Suckling - "Very elegant and restrained nose of sweet violets, watermelon, fruit salad, red cherries, strawberries and pomegranates. Dense on the palate with a medium body, chewy tannins, crisp acidity and a polished finish. Surprisingly delicious."
