2022 André Colonge et Fils Fleurie, Les Grand Vières

Classic Fleurie with lots of floral lift.  It's red fruited & medium bodied.  Delicious now yes, but undoubtedly there's a little upside left for those patient enough to cellar it for a little time.

93 Points, Kasia  Sobiesiak, TWF - " Red fruit perfume, roses, some blue fruit, purple fig, raspberries, orange peel, all rolling on crushed rocks in an energetic, minerally drive. With substance but light, filled with fine tannins, sweet earth note, and some chewy bitterness. A wine that turns delicate rose petals on the nose into bloody meatiness on the palate. A little warm in the end, but more like gingerbread and pink peppercorn than alcohol per se. Drinking very well”
