100% Sylvaner from the Elsewhere vineyard. It sees quite a bit of skin contact before going into oak, some of which is new.
It was hard not to just hook straight into this. It’s so textural, so fresh, so zippy and yet so complex. It’s smoky, dry, slightly coffeed, driven by stonefruit and thoroughly engaging at every turn. It then finishes with a confident burst, especially once it’s had time to breathe. It’s very good.
