2021 Musso Roero Arneis DOCG Museum Release
A museum release of Roero Arneis direct from Musso's cellar & from the magnificent 2021 vintage.
94 Points, Tip Top Tipple- Kasia Sobiesiak, TWF - "Slated pistachios and green pears, green melon, almonds, aniseed and flint. This is a great start. The flavour composition is striking. The zing of acid, the electric feel of flinty minerality, a la oyster juice, runs on the sides of the tongue, flooding the mouth. There’s fine but firming texture and tension, very savoury finish, crushed white flowers, crushed rocks and that bitter-phenolic green almond feel in the aftertaste. Delizioso!"
A very special vintage for this wine with a parcel held back by Musso for re-release. Some spearmint as well as aniseed on the nose. An ultra zippy expression of Arneis with intense stoney mineral mouthfeel & superb length. Terrific stuff an expression of Arneis that can only be achieved in the right sites from a special growing season.
