2021 Mark Haisma Grand Cru Clos de Vougeot
17.5 Pts Jancis Robinson - "Tank sample. Light to mid crimson. After the Fonteny, this is back to pretty, scented red fruits. Very slightly floral. Intense, juicy, crunchy fruit. Lovely freshness, the tannins are fine-boned and add to that freshness. Mouth-watering finish, the fruit super-pure." (JH)
Bill Nanson - "The return – but from a different owner – on the mid-section of the northern Wall – so Chambolle side. Another engaging, inviting, lovely nose. Beautiful, classy, sleek, shape. A beauty!
Jasper Morris - 92-94 – "A mid crimson colour, quite elegant, lots of stems (50%) rather define the palate, and give a drier feel before the fruit comes back. This weight of stem influence explains the elegance but perhaps takes away from the terroir feel. A light strawberry finish." Drink from 2027-2033. Tasted: November 2022.
