2021 Jérôme Arnoux Pinot Noir 'Révélation'

From the very low yielding but outstanding 2021 vintage.  This is mouth watering & delicate Pinot Noir at a fraction of the price of comparable quality offerings from neighbouring Burgundy.  Grown on a mix of limestone & clay soils with a cool exposition (SE).  Raised in old wood.  It's a delicate & elegant expression but certainly not lacking any stuffing - excellent cellaring potential here but delicious now.

95 Points, Kasia Sobiesiak (The Wine Front) – “This is very good, very Pinot Noir. Ripe strawberry base, mostly found in flavour, very clearly defined, but there’s so much to unpack in aromas. Fruit—yes, in the background, less important? Also yes. It’s all about the perfume: roses, petrichor, fresh button mushrooms, wet earth, garden herbs, red apple skin, forest after rain, romance…?! Yes. And then again, mid palate sweetness of summer strawberries lifted in the end with blood orange twist and fine pumice stone tannins to tie it all in structure. Delicious.”
