95 Points, Gary Walsh - "Gee, this is a tight and ultra-mineral expression of Nebbiolo. Juicy red fruit, lots of perfume like thyme and rosemary, some dried roses, white pepper and spice. It’s medium-bodied, stony and firm, lots of crunch and pomegranate here, kind of cool and mentholated, something of a juniper berry twang, roast chestnut, with a granular etching of tannin on a red fruited finish of excellent length. There’s an element of rock licking here, which I always like. Anyway, a distinctive and different expression of Nebbiolo here. And very good it is too."
