Harvest for the Nebbiolos took place from October 15 to 24. As has been the case for a few years now, the Barbarescos spend two years in cask."

95 Points, Galloni - "The 2021 Barbaresco Rombone is a dark, elegant wine.  Strong floral and savory notes meld into a core of dark-fleshed Nebbiolo fruit.  The 2021 is a Rombone of great aromatic complexity and structure, with the fruit pushed into background. Bright saline notes extend the finish.  Readers will have to be patient, as the 2021 is an especially reticent Rombone. This is a fabulous expression of Treiso.”

95 Points, Gary Walsh (The Wine Front) – “Dark cherry, poached strawberry, liquorice, sage and mint, baking spice and cedar, a stony/earthy thing too, along with a rosehip tea perfume. It’s medium-bodied, savoury with a bresaola and olive oil thing happening, supple in tannin, again that stony feel, balanced acidity, with a nutty and spicy finish of excellent length, fine sooty tannin carries in the aftertaste. Excellent wine.”
