2021 Eric Forest L'âme Forest' Pouilly Fuissé

A biodynamic wine which is comprised from old vines across four of Eric's different lie-dits vineyard sites - ‘La Cote', ‘Tilliers’, ‘Le Bois Rosier', & Carmentrants’.  Each having distinctly different soil profiles.  

Scents of lemon thyme, verbena and mint. Green almond and oatmeal give way to a burst of taut (but not strict) citrus notes, salinity and wet stone. Very long and straight but also not without flavour & texture. A terrific release from Eric & should age magnificently.
