2021 Eric Forest Mâcon-Pierreclos "Clos des Charmes"

Vergisson is the epicentre of the most serious terroir in the Mâconnais. And a special Monopole here with 100+ vines at high altitude.  A high presence of limestone giving the wine an intense mineral feel. 

Whiff of spearmint & sea spray on the nose. Really zippy & fresh palate punctuated by lemon curd & other citrus notes.  A very stoney & saline finish of terrific length.  Brilliant stuff again from Eric.
