2021 Domaine Tortochot Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru 'Les Champeaux'

This Premier Cru is located on the Côte St Jacques. Its east-facing exposure is ideal for Pinot. 

Bill Nanson (does not score wines) - "The most northern of the Gevrey 1ers - there's more chay here.An extra, more fleshy ripeness to this red fruit - still with a fine clarity of fruit and some perfur too. There's salinity too - 'yes that's from the stems.' That's a wine that I'd wait a short time to balance out but it's energetically delicious and really complex!"
