From 75 year old vines in the wonderful vineyard Sentiers, perhaps could be considered the 'flagship' 1er cru wine of this great Domaine.

91-94 Points Jasper Morris - "A deeper crimson purple, and definitely a greater weight of fruit on the nose. A burst of fruit on the attack, going through to the back of the palate, a little orange rind note alongside the deep red berry fruit, good acidity, well managed tannins and persistent". 17 Points Jancis Robinson - "0.7 ha (1.7 acres) just above Bonnes Mares and in thick clay soils. Average vine age 70 years, oldest planted in 1947. 25% new oak. Tank sample. Deep-mid ruby. Luxurious colour – like velvet! Red and black fruits, black raspberry, cassis with some ground-black-pepper spice. Very concentrated with just a hint of minty freshness in the middle. Almost a total change in style, this is so rich and complex. Refined, integrated powdery tannins. Spot on!" (MH) Drink from 2026-2033.
