2021 Domaine Anne Et Herve Sigaut Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuees

From a mere 0.5 hectare of  mainly 40 year old vines adjacent to Bonne Mares.  Les Fuees is one of the great sites in Chambolle.

89-92 Points, Jasper Morris - "Three planting dates, 1969, 1970s and the biggest plot in 1996. Mid crimson, with a slightly restrained fruit on the nose. The palate shows a more interesting quality fruit behind, some strawberry and roses, of medium density, perhaps slightly falling away at the back". Drink from 2026-2032. 

16.5 Jancis Robinson - "Three parcels making 0.5 ha (1.2 acres); 35-year-old vines. Two parcels abutting the Bonnes Mares Grand Cru. 25% new oak. Tank sample.
Pale ruby. Elegant light red cherries, strawberry and redcurrants with ground-pepper spice. Elegant, floral lightness, with powdery, feather-like tannins. Refined and aloof". (MH) Drink 2025-2035
