A somewhat iconic 100% sparkling nebbiolo from the volcanic soils of Gattinara. Bottle fermented & 3 gram dosage. From the outstanding 2021 growing season - this is another terrific release from this ultra consistent wine. It has a talc like minerality & complexity the equal of good grower Champagne.

95 Points - Mike Bennie - "Of a parlance, but gun to head, ask me for a list of my favourite fizz to drink and I’ll whip-crack quip ‘Cantina Delsignore nebb rosé thing’. I’ll stand by that. There’s so much snap and tension, freshness and friskiness and amongst this a strong definition of nebbiolo despite the lither approach to the variety. Red cherry, green and salted almonds, aniseed, wild herbs, fennel and blood orange with chalky tannins a delicate definition element. It’s delightfully refreshing, the tickle of fizz intense and yet compact, the finish off to infinity with an almost Schweppervescence lingering, though tinged with that blood orange in sorbet form. Quietly complex in its way. Epic drinking."
