2021 Cantina Delsignore "Mecco" Metodo Classico (PRE-ARRIVAL ONLY)

From the superb 2021 vintage and zero dosage with 38 months on lees. No Champagne at this price point could hold a candle to this release. This is a highwater mark for this cuvee. 

So aromatic for sparkling wine, almost that tar and roses thing.  The palate is ultra mineral and so chalky with a talc like mouthfeel.  There’s pink grapefruit and pomegranate, a lick of aniseed (as there should be with any Nebbiolo wine).  It’s very long with real verve and energy. It should cellar a treat.
