2023 Aline Beauné Santenay 1er Cru Beaurepaire

From the top of the slope of 1er Cru Beaurepaire. Clay soil with a high limestone content on the surface.

Just 30% new oak - but this has some fantastic concentration & structure.  The ample but fine tannin suggests very bright cellaring potential.  Cherry, delicate spice & so much perfume.
