95 Points, Lisa Cardelli (The Wie Pilot) - "A puppy, this Barolo has been in bottle for only four weeks. Of all the Crus, it is the quietest and most reserved. It softly speaks of minerality, tar, red clay, fresh red cherries, cranberries, and orange skin. The tannins are robust with an impressive filigree. It is undoubtedly a Barolo that needs time to unpack its content. The great, savoury length makes you wonder. I also love how Monchiero judiciously uses large, neutral oak vessels across the board."
