2020 Mark Haisma Chassagne-Montrachet
Bill Nanson - "A blend of two parcels; one high and one low.A more compact nose – fine but rather tight. Fuller, incisive, almost a mouth-watering, steely style. Intense finishing."
Galloni (Neal Martin) - "The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet has a crips & pure bouquet with touches of yellow flowers emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, taut & fresh, hints of dried apricot & white peach. Nice bitterness on the stem ginger finish here with nice dry extract. "
Japser Morris - "Seven barrels made from Goujonne, below, En Pimont, above, and a touch of Champgain. Apples and liquorice, perhaps a herbal note. Also a strong lemon component, suggesting that up the hill is winning at the moment. A slight sweet and sour citrus finish. "
