2022 Giacomo Marchiori Uvaggio

Uvaggio is a traditional blend of the Coste della Sesia region a small appellation between the provinces of Biella and Vercelli (Alto Piemonte).

The fruit comes from “Palestro” and “Piazza” vinyeards in Castellengo, a hamlet of the village of Cossato, and “Costa di Ardemo” vineyard in Quaregna, a small village near Cossato. Both are historical zone of wine production. The fruit is selected from forty-years old vines.

It's a blend of Nebbiolo,  Croatina, Barbera, Freisa, Vespolina and other typical varieties.
