2020 Eric Forest Saint Véran "Terre Noire"

100% Chardonnay fruit farmed at high altitude.  Many of the vines here are in excess of 100 years of age.

"Terre Noire" refers to the black earth soil which sits with dense quantities of limestone just one metre below the surface. 

White stone fruits are on the offering here but punctuated with brine & very delicate spice.  This is knockout Chardonnay for the price.
