A blend of Chardonnay & Savagnin. The vines for this cuvee are 50 years old producing a really concentrated Jura.  Aged in old oak & not topped up.  

94 Points, Mike Bennie (TWF) - "There’s an intriguing sense of precision to this wine, tension, distinct minerality, a kinship to fino sherry and a pulsing concentration despite all that. Sea spray, green almond, lemon verbena lead cashew paste, the faintest wild honey character, preserved lemon and green olive. Indeed, the wine finishes with a manzanilla/green olive character that reminds me of Bernal’s outstanding, manzanilla-and-brine green olives, and good for that reason too. It’s got substantial length, a sense of purity despite savouriness, and even with the warmer, light breathiness (perhaps the smallest quibble), holds its own for finesse and refreshment factor. A bold wine, no doubt, distinct, Jurassic overall. Wonderful drinking."
