Note: primarily from Fourchaume proper with a small amount of Vaupoulent. Here too there is a whiff of the exotic lurking in the background of the ripe and fresh aromas of citrus-inflected white peach and passion fruit that carry very good Chablis character. There is a lovely sense of energy to the delicious and solidly concentrated flavors that exude an overt minerality on the bracing finish. This needs to develop better depth, but it should if it's allowed at least a few years of cellar time. Drink 2025+ - Outstanding - Issue 80
