2020 AOP Arbois 'Les Voisines'

From three different lieux-dits: Petit Curoulet, les Corvées and la Platière. The soils vary, with gravel on marl, limestone and blue marl. Direct press to tank, finished in used barrels. Not fined or filtered. Aged in used barrels for 18 months, topped up regularly. 12%.

Rich aromas with shells, lime, curry leaf and sea breeze. Broad palate of peach, apple, nectarine, and lime. Deep mid palate, lots going on. Luscious but fresh. Finishes salty. Good tension on finish – that trademark lime zest note of theirs. Crafted so well, and a big step up from the 2018.
