2020 Benjamin Leroux Bourgogne Aligoté

Neal Martin, Vinous (Antonio Galloni) - The 2020 Bourgogne Aligoté had been bottled in mid-September. It has a clean and fresh bouquet with lemon zest and light malic aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, a nice touch of sour lemon on the finish. Closure: Diam.

Jasper Morris - Picked 15th September from their own vineyard below Meursault, at 12.9% alcohol. Bottled just before harvest having been mostly made in foudre. A little meaty touch, very good weight, greengage and yellow plum. Opens out very well afterwards, relatively fleshy. Pretty, with a long finish.
