2019 Sentio Macedon Chardonnay

Sentio has moved away from screw cap for its top chardonnays.

And this is a top chardonnay. Showy oak on the nose but the palate is quartz-like. It’s a wine of drive and length. Lime, peach, slate, chalk, apple and cedar. The tension here, it’s something. The way it fills the palate with flavour and then purrs long and strong through the finish. If you drink it now; decant it. But it’s going to age beautifully.
