2019 Ruggeri Corsini 'Autenzio' Albarossa

Albarossa grape variety was created in 1938 by Giovanni Dalmasso, professor at the University of Agriculture of Turin. It is the result of the crossing of Chatus (Nebbiolo di Dronero) x Barbera vines. This crossing resulted in a wine with a high alcohol content and a powerful polyphenolic component (that never shows signs of astringency), balanced by a sustained acidity. It is a wine of intense ruby red color, with violet shades, and a rich and complex bouquet where the fruity aroma prevails over floral scents, along with a spicy component (tobacco).
