A core of sweet raspberry fruit framed by firm, ripe and polished tannins. Spectacular tannic structure that is totally captivating and with youthful, focused red fruit. (WS)" 

95+ Points Gary Walsh (TWF) - "Raspberry, hazelnut, white pepper, floral, a whiff of aniseed. It’s medium-bodied, tight and spicy, a firm slate feel to tannin and brisk ‘mineral’ acidity, all the red fruits, quite tense, black tea flavours too, and that character pushes through on the long finish. Tea, roses, red fruit, and classic restrained feel. It feels stretched tight at present, but gee, I reckon the perfume and charm will really roll out with more time in bottle. Delightful.!
